A Secretaria Municipal da\u00a0Sa\u00fade\u00a0(SMS) participa, junto com a Secretaria Estadual da Sa\u00fade, da for\u00e7a-tarefa para vacinar a popula\u00e7\u00e3o contra a hepatite B. Na capital paulista, a expectativa \u00e9 imunizar cerca de 1,4 milh\u00f5es de pessoas com at\u00e9 29 anos de idade.<\/p>\n

A vacina tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel para grupos considerados de risco, como profissionais do sexo, homossexuais, usu\u00e1rios de drogas injet\u00e1veis, manicures, pod\u00f3logos e profissionais de sa\u00fade, entre outros, conforme calend\u00e1rio do Programa Nacional de Imuniza\u00e7\u00e3o do Minist\u00e9rio da Sa\u00fade. Inclu\u00edda desde 1998, no calend\u00e1rio de vacina\u00e7\u00e3o da crian\u00e7a, a vacina hepatite B tamb\u00e9m passou a ser aplicada, desde 2012, em pessoas com idade at\u00e9 29 anos. Para ficar protegido contra a doen\u00e7a \u00e9 preciso tomar tr\u00eas doses da vacina.<\/p>\n

A segunda dose \u00e9 ministrada um m\u00eas depois da inicial. A terceira, ap\u00f3s seis meses. A vacina est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel nas 441 Unidades B\u00e1sicas de Sa\u00fade e nos Servi\u00e7os de Atendimento Especializado em DST\/Aids, de segunda a sexta-feira, no hor\u00e1rio de funcionamento do servi\u00e7o.<\/p>\n

A hepatite \u00e9 a inflama\u00e7\u00e3o do f\u00edgado e o diagn\u00f3stico deve ser feito por meio de exame de sangue espec\u00edfico. A causa mais comum \u00e9 a infec\u00e7\u00e3o por v\u00edrus, quando ent\u00e3o recebe o nome de hepatite viral do tipo A, B, C, D ou E. A doen\u00e7a pode, tamb\u00e9m, ter origem no uso de alguns rem\u00e9dios, \u00e1lcool e outras drogas. S\u00f3 existe dispon\u00edvel no mercado a vacina para a infec\u00e7\u00e3o do v\u00edrus tipo B.<\/p>\n
